Senior HR Consultant
Eliza brings over 20 years of human resources experience, working with companies of various sizes across diverse industries such as start-ups, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, government, and business and consumer services. Her expertise includes staffing and recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, job description development, benefits administration, payroll system setup, and policy creation.
With more than 15 years in senior management, Eliza has successfully led recruiting teams and streamlined HR processes. For the past 3+ years, she has specialized in HR consulting, focusing on small non-profit and tech companies. Her primary responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, developing HR processes, creating job descriptions, and crafting employee handbooks.
Eliza's impact is evident in her ability to streamline onboarding, provide essential HR guidance, and free leadership to concentrate on core responsibilities. She is driven by the success of her clients, the growth of their businesses, and empowering leadership teams with confidence in HR. She values continuous learning and fostering strong client relationships through open communication and collaboration. In addition to her professional work, Eliza volunteers with The Haven House as a member of their HR committee, demonstrating her dedication to giving back to the community.
Outside of work, Eliza enjoys visiting the North Carolina coast with her family and supporting her kids in their sports and arts activities. She holds a BA in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
